Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of drinks and food items.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order entry, billing, and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple tables or bar patrons promptly while maintaining high service quality.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills and retail math principles; process payments via POS systems securely.
• Assist with food service when needed, including serving food at bars or during catering and banquet events.
• Monitor guest behavior responsibly to ensure safety and adherence to alcohol service laws; recognize signs of intoxication.
• Support inventory management by tracking stock levels of beverages and supplies; communicate needs for restocking.
• Collaborate with team members to create a lively atmosphere at nightclubs or special events like banquets or catering functions.

Experience

• Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Experience in retail math, cash handling, cashiering, or brewing contributes to accurate transactions and inventory control.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through excellent time management skills during peak hours.
