Bartender (Full-Time / Part-Time)

Creating an exceptional guest experience is at the heart of what we do, and our bartenders play a huge role in making that happen.

Schulz Bräu Brewing Company is looking for energetic, enthusiastic, and reliable individuals to join our team as full-time and part-time bartenders. Ideal candidates are passionate about craft beer, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy creating memorable experiences for guests.

Weekend and evening availability is essential.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the face of Schulz Bräu Brewing Company by providing exceptional guest service
• Greet guests promptly with enthusiasm, professionalism, and friendliness
• Guide guests through our beer menu, explaining our staple and seasonal offerings
• Answer questions about our beer, brewing process, and facilities accurately and confidently
• Build and maintain positive relationships with new and returning guests
• Work closely with staff and management to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
• Follow all checklists, procedures, and service standards
• Buss and reset bar tops and tables as needed
• Maintain full compliance with all alcohol service laws, company policies, and responsible serving standards at all times.
• Continue developing knowledge of craft beer and Schulz Bräu products

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Bartending experience preferred; high-volume experience is a plus
• Craft beer knowledge or brewery experience preferred, but not required
• Must obtain a Tennessee ABC Server Permit
• Must complete Cicerone Level 1 Certification within two weeks of hire
• Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong work ethic and ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and team-oriented mindset
• Passion for craft beer, hospitality, and creating a welcoming atmosphere

Schulz Bräu Brewing Company is a family-owned German-style brewery located in a castle-themed beer hall and Biergarten in Knoxville, TN. Known for our authentic German lagers, lively atmosphere, and major events like Oktoberfest and Ritterfest, we pride ourselves on creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
