Bartender - Gaming (On-call)

Job Overview:

Sun City Summerlin Community Association is hiring for a Bartender with gaming experience for our Tavern at the Falls restaurant, where you will be the vibrant face behind the bar, delivering exceptional service in a lively, entertainment-focused setting. This is an on-call position

The role offers flexibility and the opportunity to engage with guests in a fast-paced, energetic atmosphere. As a key team member, you’ll craft beverages, manage transactions, and ensure every guest has an unforgettable experience while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and customer service.

A non-gaming Work Card is required. If you don't have one, you must have the ability to pass the necessary checks with the state of Nevada to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages efficiently and accurately, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and billing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashing out guests and balancing registers at shift end.
• Support gaming operations by providing excellent customer service at gaming stations and assisting guests with inquiries.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy hours, including nightclubs or banquet events when applicable.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender or in food service, preferably within a hospitality or nightlife environment such as nightclubs or fine dining settings.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling and cashiering is essential.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts to meet business needs.
