Bartender Ice Shaver

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Bartender Ice Shaver to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving refreshing shaved ice beverages with precision and enthusiasm, creating memorable experiences for our guests. Your expertise in food safety, customer service, and beverage presentation will ensure that every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. Duties

• Must be able to work nights and weekends in some capacity.
• Must be able to learn how to use a shave ice machine, if have not already; must be trainable.
• Operate ice shaver machines efficiently to produce high-quality shave ice beverages, ensuring consistency and presentation standards are met.
• Prepare a variety of flavored syrups and toppings, maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards at all times.
• Serve shave ice promptly while engaging with guests in a friendly, energetic manner that enhances their overall experience.
• Manage the Clover POS system for order processing, payments, and receipts with accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, bar area, and equipment in compliance with health regulations and safety guidelines.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring supplies of ice, syrups, cups, and other essentials; will assist with inventory recovery (Sam's Club) when stock needs replenishing.
• Support the team during busy hours by multitasking efficiently between serving shave ice, handling cash transactions, and providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles such as fine dining, nightclub service, banquet catering or retail food industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems including Clover POS, Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales transactions.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly during peak hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and the ability to engage guests effectively.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, proper food handling, and sanitation procedures.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory counting; retail math experience is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to maintain composure in front of young kids and their parents.
