THE JOB:

We’re looking for a full time bartender who has interest in picking up shift leader duties a couple nights a week. We’ll start with bartending then cross train to add shift leader duties after 4-6 weeks, if both parties still like the idea. If bartending seems to be best, then we’ll keep it like that. (See requirements below).

OPTION TO TRAIN FOR LEADERSHIP AT HIGHER HOURLY RATE AND STILL EARN TIPS

Shift Leader/ Key Responsibilities:

Pitching in and helping out wherever needed including seating guests, visiting tables, helping behind the bar, bussing tables, running the expo window, and helping on the line during busy periods

Daily operations of the store. Close the restaurant as needed, including counting cash on hand, ensuring that the opening/closing checklists have been completed in full, locking up and turning off all non-essential equipment

In the absence of the Manager, serve as the senior representative for the restaurant for any staff or guest inquiries

Shift Leader/Key Requirements

Two to five years of experience working in a restaurant, with a minimum of one year bartending

MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS.

Bartender Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, preparing them efficiently, and building a rapport with guests

Prepare cocktails according to the recipes provided

Check guest's identification and confirm they meet the legal drinking age

Clean the bar and the surrounding area of spills and other messes as needed

Handle card and cash transactions, ensuring that all funds in the cash drawer are accounted for by the end of the shift

Pick up a host shift as needed, no more than 3 times a month.

Keep an eye on guest intoxication levels and have the courage to politely end service for those who have had too much

Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies

Bartender Requirements:

One year bartending experience and over the age of 18.

MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS.

Knowledge of craft beer and alcohol with the ability to educate customers

Willingness to learn and take direction from the Manager and ability to communicate and listen to other team members

Maintain excellent customer service with a positive attitude towards guests, vendors, co-workers, etc.

Ensure protection of proprietary information including recipes and certain preparation techniques

Hours: Daily 11am-11pm. 719 W Main St, Leesburg, 34748

Pay: $11.98 per hour
