Bartender (Part-Time)

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Part-time with availability for evening shifts. Weekend availability required.
• 1-year experience in similar environment preferred.
• Knowledge of common drink recipes and bartending techniques.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Greet guests, take orders, and serve food and beverage in compliance with established policies and procedures, brand standards and steps of service. Follow all responsible alcohol service procedures.
• Demonstrate full knowledge of menus to explain major ingredients, preparation methods, and flavor profiles.
• Approach guest encounters in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Take an active role in understanding and anticipating guest needs to provide authentic and personalized service.
• Ensure a timely response to guest requests and address concerns beyond satisfaction.
• Promptly address incidents involving possible excessive alcohol consumption or an impaired condition.
• Follow proper guest check and payment policies and procedures.
• Report all tips in compliance with company policy and IRS regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar and surrounding area. Return equipment and supplies to proper areas at end of shift.
• Perform assigned side-work.
• Report to work when scheduled and in proper uniform.
• Maintain a consistent professional and positive attitude when communicating with guests, vendors and associates.
• Practice safe work habits and comply with sanitary, safety, security and emergency procedures.
• Any other tasks / duties as requested by management.

Pay: $10.70 per hour
