QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Part-time with availability for evening shifts. Weekend availability required.
- 1-year experience in similar environment preferred.
- Knowledge of common drink recipes and bartending techniques.
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Refined verbal communication skills.
- Friendly, outgoing personality.
- Organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Greet guests, take orders, and serve food and beverage in compliance with established policies and procedures, brand standards and steps of service. Follow all responsible alcohol service procedures.
- Demonstrate full knowledge of menus to explain major ingredients, preparation methods, and flavor profiles.
- Approach guest encounters in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Take an active role in understanding and anticipating guest needs to provide authentic and personalized service.
- Ensure a timely response to guest requests and address concerns beyond satisfaction.
- Promptly address incidents involving possible excessive alcohol consumption or an impaired condition.
- Follow proper guest check and payment policies and procedures.
- Report all tips in compliance with company policy and IRS regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of bar and surrounding area. Return equipment and supplies to proper areas at end of shift.
- Perform assigned side-work.
- Report to work when scheduled and in proper uniform.
- Maintain a consistent professional and positive attitude when communicating with guests, vendors and associates.
- Practice safe work habits and comply with sanitary, safety, security and emergency procedures.
- Any other tasks / duties as requested by management.
