Sake a Gogo is seeking a dynamic, self-driven bartender to take full ownership of our bar.

We recently launched Cat-Tail Hour (4–6pm, Tues–Fri) featuring $2 oysters, and it’s already drawing a strong crowd. This role is at the center of that momentum—blending happy hour energy with dinner service in one continuous, high-impact shift.

This is not a typical bartending role. This is an opportunity to own the bar, build a following, and create an experience.

The Role

You will be the bartender on shift, responsible for driving the guest experience from start to finish. This is a one-person bar that requires confidence, autonomy, and the ability to set the tone for the room.

What We’re Looking For

• Someone who wants to own their bar and build a loyal following
• A warm, engaging personality that makes guests feel comfortable in a space that can feel elevated or unfamiliar
• Ability to work independently and direct the flow of service
• Passion for hospitality and guest experience
• Interest in Japanese spirits, sake, and cocktail culture

Experience with sake and Japanese spirits is a plus, but not required. What matters most is a genuine curiosity and willingness to learn—we will train the right person who is eager to grow.
