Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, taking their orders with enthusiasm and professionalism.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
• Take food orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and processing payments efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food handling and safety standards.
• Assist in setting up banquet events or nightclub functions as needed, supporting catering and event services.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations seamlessly during busy hours.

Skills

• Proficiency in POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry and payment processing.
• Extensive experience in food service environments, including fine dining, nightclub settings, or banquet operations.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and strong communication abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales transactions.
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations; certifications preferred.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
• Familiarity with beverage preparation techniques including brewing coffee or beer service; knowledge of the food industry is a plus.
• Previous restaurant experience that demonstrates adaptability in fast-paced environments such as hospitality or retail settings.
