Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Take accurate orders from guests, providing menu recommendations and answering questions about drink options, food offerings, and specials.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate cash handling and cashiering procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space in accordance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management while delivering prompt, friendly service.
• Assist in food service by delivering dishes to tables, ensuring proper presentation, and accommodating special requests or dietary needs.
• Engage with customers to create a lively atmosphere, promote sales of beverages or merchandise, and foster guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles such as restaurant experience, fine dining or nightclub is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Toast is preferred; basic math skills are essential for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in diverse settings.
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail in serving drinks and food.
• Experience with beverage preparation including brewing or mixing cocktails is a plus; knowledge of the food industry trends is beneficial.

Pay: $32.00 - $45.00 per hour
