Bartender Server

Overview

Arbor Manor Steakhouse is seeking friendly Bartenders and Servers to join our dynamic hospitality team. Our hours of operation are 5:30-9pm Monday through Saturday. Perfect opportunity to work part time while still maintaining a day job or have the ability to work evenings to have the day to yourself. Average pay ranges from $15-$30 an hour based on tips. Must be 19 years old. Willing to train

This role combines the art of mixology with exceptional customer service, ensuring guests have memorable dining and drinking experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, excellent multitasking skills, and a professional demeanor. Previous experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly valued. This position offers an engaging work environment where you can showcase your hospitality talents while providing top-tier service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately
• Take food and drink orders from guests efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and quality standards are met.
• Manage cash handling, billing, and processing payments accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of events, including catering or banquet services when required.
• Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit.
• Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking practices.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts, especially in nightclubs or high-volume settings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is preferred
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and calculating bills accurately.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights; experience serving at nightclubs or banquet events is advantageous.
