Duties

• Take and accurately process guest orders using POS systems, ensuring swift service and proper cash handling.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to food safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management while balancing sales opportunities to maximize tips and revenue.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred
• Proficiency with POS systems; strong cash handling skills required.
• Excellent customer service skills to engage guests in a lively environment.
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail in cleanliness.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures; certification in Alcohol/Serving course required by the state 30 days after hire.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately
