Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery.
- Provide attentive customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, following food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems, manage cash handling procedures, and process payments efficiently.
- Assist in setting up banquet events or catering functions when needed, providing excellent service in various hospitality settings including nightclubs or fine dining establishments.
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure prompt service while maintaining high-quality standards.
Experience
- Previous experience working in food service or hospitality environments such as restaurants, bars, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently through strong time management skills.
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly while adhering to food safety regulations is essential.
- Knowledge of retail math for cash handling and basic math skills for accurate bill splitting and transactions.
- Prior experience in fine dining or catering environments enhances your ability to deliver exceptional service in diverse settings.
