Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast's POS system
• Mix, garnish, and serve drinks efficiently while adhering to standard recipes and presentation guidelines
• Serve food items promptly, ensuring proper food handling and safety procedures are followed
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, bar area, dining spaces, and ensure compliance with food safety standards
• Engage with guests to promote sales of beverages and menu items while providing excellent customer service
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies in accordance with legal regulations

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred
• Experience with Toast's POS system is beneficial
• Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
• Background in hospitality or retail math for cash handling and sales transactions
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse guests effectively
• Familiarity with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal requirements
• Basic math skills for accurate billing, change calculation, and sales tracking
