Join us at Curfew on 14th Ave in downtown Vero Beach, a modern elevated gastropub, with strong craft cocktail program at a large bar and one of the most modern culinary programs in Vero Beach.

Experienced Bartender / Server willing to learn and grow needed. Must have knowledge of classic cocktails, the ability to study and learn house specialty drinks and most importantly, have a great personality! Must be organized, have great communication skills and a positive attitude. Giving the guest a great experience by exceeding expectations is our number one priority.

Bar and kitchen open late nightly. PM only, Looking for a part time/flex position with open availability. Tuesday- Saturday, occasional Sunday Brunch Events + Holidays

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations throughout your shift
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders, payments, and manage tabs efficiently
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including food pairings and specials
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations effectively through excellent time management and multitasking skills

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings is preferred
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities accurately using retail math and basic math skills
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with local laws and regulations
• Excellent time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities during busy shifts
