Duties

• Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and presentation that exceeds guest expectations.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, including specialty cocktails, brewing options, and food safety standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities, while managing POS operations smoothly.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of events such as banquets or catering functions, providing excellent customer service throughout.
• Engage with guests in a friendly manner, upselling menu items to enhance sales and guest satisfaction.

Skills

• Proficiency in POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales management.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours in nightclubs, restaurants, or banquet settings.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in fast-paced environments.
• Previous experience in fine dining, food service, or retail math to handle transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques essential for maintaining hygiene and compliance.
• Experience with catering or banquet service to support large events seamlessly.
• Familiarity with hospitality industry tools such as basic math for cash handling, retail math for sales upselling, and restaurant experience to deliver top-tier service.
