Bartender / Server / Beer Server

NEFF Brewing is an upscale brewpub located in downtown Tulsa. We are an inclusive space where everyone has a seat at the craft beer table where we explore the possibilities of gluten free and allergen free beer and food. Starting pay is $7.25/h plus tips. Total pay including tips will range from $20 - $30+/h depending on taproom business.

We are not a full service bar or kitchen, instead we are an upscale casual brewpub exclusively serving beers made onsite by our brewing team, with a small eatery onsite that specializes in gluten free and allergen free foods made to order. We have a large taproom with interior and exterior seating, with an indoor capacity of about 162 and outdoor capacity of 100+. Our open concept kitchen is frequently likened to an "upscale food truck built into the building". The kitchen line is in full view of the public so our food sensitive customers may see how their food is prepared.

We're looking for a diverse group of gregarious and personable individuals who are enthusiastic and motivated with a passion for craft beer! Experience in the service industry is required. Bartenders are expected to serve our beers in a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional manner while maintaining the taproom's clean and comfortable environment. We are an upscale casual family friendly environment that is fun and relaxed while also providing a elevated taproom experience satisfying the expectations of any craft beer lover.

The position requires more than just serving drinks, there will be frequent customer interaction, requiring a high level of knowledge of our products and of customer service. From taking orders, properly pouring craft beer, participating in beer quality control panels, serving beer & food at festivals, developing beer & food pairings, to answering questions about all of our food, beer, and culture, this is not your average bartending job! This is a crucial role in our brewpub that fosters growth and education in a face paced working environment! We also serve non-alcoholic mocktails hand crafted at the bar.

Responsibilities:

• Opening/Closing/Side work taproom duties
• Serving beer to customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner
• Serving food from our small onsite eatery
• Bussing tables
• Running food
• Assisting in set up for and execution of taproom events
• Changing kegs
• Cleaning/maintaining draft system & keg coolers
• Stocking merchandise & beer coolers
• Participation in beer quality control panels
• Serving beer at off-site events & festivals
• Taproom cleaning
• Answering the phone & taking reservations
• Note - no liquor is currently sold at our facility, no mixing of drinks required. Beer, wine, & cider only.

Requirements:

• All applicants must be 21 years of age or older
• Experience in the bar/restaurant service industry
• Must have an inclusive and accepting attitude - our beer is Brewed For Everyone
• Current food handlers permit
• Current ABLE Alcohol Employee License
• Able to pass a background check
• Craft beer enthusiasts are highly encouraged to apply!
