Bartender (Weekend AM)
Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Reports to: Director of Operations
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Responsible for set-up, mixing of drinks, service and cleanup of bar area while providing quality service, guest satisfaction and the achievement/maintenance of company standards and profit maximization.
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
This position follows a set weekly schedule as outlined below:
Additional shifts may be requested as needed.
Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
Occasional holiday or event-based coverage may be requested.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Make and serve drinks to guests and for servers following guidelines.
- Perform guest contact professionally.
- Ring guest checks and process payments.
- Complete liquor requisitions.
- Know and comply with state liquor laws.
- Ensure pars are maintained.
- Perform side work duties.
- Support servers as needed.
- Will be required to work nights, holidays, weekends.
- Other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- 18+ to serve alcohol.
- 1+ year bartending experience preferred.
- Hotel/restaurant experience preferred.
- Food/beverage knowledge.
- POS skills.
- Professional, service-oriented demeanor.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must understand English.
- Must perform duties with or without accommodation.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:
- Work in cooler as needed.
- Lift 50+ lbs.
- Stand/move 8+ hours.
- Kneel, squat, bend, stoop, twist.
- Use POS, phone, appliances.
