Bartender/Axe Coach

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging guests, taking orders accurately, and delivering memorable experiences
• Coach guests on safe axe-throwing techniques, ensuring proper form and safety protocols are followed at all times
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area and axe lanes in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations
• Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment during high-energy nights or events in the nightclub or banquet setting
• Assist with food handling, serving snacks or light menu items when needed, while adhering to food safety guidelines
• Handle cashing out guests accurately using retail math skills and basic math proficiency

Qualifications

• Previous experience in bartending or food service roles, especially in fine dining or nightlife environments preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service
• Experience in serving or bartending at nightclubs, banquet events, or catering environments is a plus
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for sales transactions and cash handling with accuracy
• Excellent communication skills to coach guests confidently on axe throwing techniques and safety measures
• A passion for hospitality, brewing knowledge is a bonus but not required

Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour
