Join our dynamic team as a Bartender/Axe Coach, where you will blend the art of mixology with the thrill of axe throwing! Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging guests, taking orders accurately, and delivering memorable experiences
- Coach guests on safe axe-throwing techniques, ensuring proper form and safety protocols are followed at all times
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area and axe lanes in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment during high-energy nights or events in the nightclub or banquet setting
- Assist with food handling, serving snacks or light menu items when needed, while adhering to food safety guidelines
- Handle cashing out guests accurately using retail math skills and basic math proficiency
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or food service roles, especially in fine dining or nightlife environments preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service
- Experience in serving or bartending at nightclubs, banquet events, or catering environments is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for sales transactions and cash handling with accuracy
- Excellent communication skills to coach guests confidently on axe throwing techniques and safety measures
- A passion for hospitality, brewing knowledge is a bonus but not required
