Bartender/Barista

This position requires a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with a passion for excellent customer service and a strong knowledge of both craft beer and coffee. The Beertender/Barista will be responsible for providing friendly and efficient service to customers, preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including craft beers, coffee drinks, and other refreshments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Beverage Preparation:

• Accurately prepare and serve a wide range of craft beers and wine, including knowledge of different styles, brewing techniques, and flavor profiles.
• Skillfully prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and specialty brews.
• Prepare and serve non-alcoholic beverages, including teas, juices, and sodas.
• Customer Service:
• Provide friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable service to all customers.

• Greet customers warmly and build rapport.
• Provide recommendations based on customer preferences.
• Handle customer requests and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.

Bar/Cafe Maintenance:Inventory Management:Cash Handling:

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Stock and replenish bar supplies.
• Clean and sanitize all equipment and glassware.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory control for beer, coffee, and other bar supplies.
• Monitor stock levels to report back to management.
• Accurately process customer payments and operate the Toast system.
• Handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.
• Balance cash drawers and reconcile transactions.Qualifications:

Experience:

• Prior experience as a bartender, barista, or in a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of craft beer styles, brewing techniques, and tasting notes.
• Experience with espresso machines and coffee brewing equipment preferred.
• Skills:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
