Bartender/Barista

Carmella's Greenville is hiring bartenders and baristas for an Italian themed dessert bar. The position will include bartending, espresso drinks (barista skills), boxing cakes, and light savory fare like sandwiches and pizza slices. Our bartenders perform all of these tasks throughout their shifts while managing guests at both the bar top and walk-up register.

Menu includes specialty cocktails, adult milkshakes, mocktails, espresso based beverages of all types, gelato, sandwiches, cakes and other desserts.

Honesty, friendliness, a sense of urgency, and high-volume restaurant experience are requirements.

You'll also need a great smile and great attitude, as well as the ability to count money, place a cake in a smallish box, use an oven to cook sandwiches and pizza slices, make coffee drinks, frozen cocktails, and classic cocktails.

This position performs all FOH duties including maintaining cleanliness of the dining room and patio during service, stocking, traying cakes and other desserts, and performing opening and closing duties.

All employees receive free meals on shift. Health plan provided at no cost for full time employees. Vision, Dental, and Life Insurance available. You must be at least 21 years old to be considered for this position.

Prefer full-time availability, but will consider excellent part-time candidates. Weekend availability is required.$5-$12/hr + tips.
