Bartender/Cart attendant/Server

Looking for enthusiastic bartenders, beverage cart, and servers to join our growing team for the golf season.

We have a tight knit operation with friendly staff who enjoy the company of others who like to be productive and friendly at work.

Responsibilities:

• Must be pleasant, conscientious, professional, have extensive knowledge of product, preparation, and alcoholic beverage selections.
• Experience working with a POS system preferred
• Bartending experience preferred
• Execute hospitable counter service of food being served out of the restaurant
• Takes pride in keeping their work area clean during service
• Cash handling experience
• Daily ingredient prep
• Ability to help set up and execute private events in the clubhouse
• Have extensive knowledge of all Food and beverage menu items and be able to answer any questions customers may have
• Ensure all supplies are stocked and ready for service, including but not limited to: ice, glassware, & garnishes
• Drive the beverage cart and serve the golfers
• Willing to work outdoors for an extended period
• Support Cooks and Beverage Cart attendant when needed
• Willing to work Mornings, Nights, Weekends and Holidays

Seasonal employee April-October

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must obtain IL food handlers certification and Basset Certification within 30 days of hire
• Excellent oral communication and listening skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Willing to work a flexible work schedule based on events
• Experience working in a golf course setting preferred but not required
• Experience being a beverage cart attendant preferred but not required
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds while restocking and putting away deliveries
• Must be 21+
