Overview
We are hiring a Bartender/ Cocktail Server for our modern Asian Fusion restaurant located in the Charlotte, NC area. It features a sushi and an Oyster bar, A5 Miyazaki Wagyu, Hyper Fresh Seafood, and an extensive menu of Modern Asian Cuisine. The restaurant has Spectrum Dining, a fully immersive 5D projection room, 3,000 square feet of outdoor dining and lounge, as well as extensive wine and Sake offerings with classic and featured craft cocktails.

Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, beverages, and food items with precision and flair, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS, processing transactions efficiently while maintaining cash handling accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about drinks and menu items, and creating a friendly atmosphere.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations effectively through excellent time management skills, ensuring prompt service during busy hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures and adhering to health regulations.
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and utensils regularly to ensure smooth operations throughout shifts.
- Assist with event setups such as banquets or catering functions, providing professional service in various hospitality environments including nightclubs and food festivals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems like Toast POS or Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math are essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety at all times.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and special event days; experience in catering or brewing is a plus.
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume periods.
- Familiarity with beverage preparation techniques, including brewing methods if applicable, along with retail math for sales tracking. Pay range $3.00 - $4.00 per hour/ plus tips
