FOH Crew/Bartender

Summary:
FOH Crew/ Bartender Members at Lani Moku Grill play a vital role by being readily able to help out at any work station during their shift. They help assist the kitchen by ensuring orders are taken accurately, assist delivering plates, and clearing tables. This position utilizes shift checklists, or completing any delegated tasks. Crew must communicate effectively to ensure that our customers receive outstanding service and food quality. Crew members report any issues to the Shift Lead or Manager.
Crew Responsibilities:
Ensuring duties such as taking customer orders, cleaning, stocking, and processing transactions are performed efficiently and thoroughly
Reporting any issues that arise during the shift to management via Communication Log if not urgent.
Ensuring compliance with company policies, health, and safety standards.
Able to stand on feet for long periods of time. Twisting, bending, and lifting. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Stocking and rotating product - FIFO (first in first out)
Putting away deliveries in a timely and organized manner.
Coaching team members in a friendly and encouraging manner.
Handling customer issues or concerns.
Having a full understanding of every menu item.
Ability to problem solve and complete shifts
Know how to operate POS tablet as well as write tickets properly (in case of internet outage)
Ensuring that all daily checklists are completed correctly.
Cash handling, taking orders from Customers, delivering food in a timely and accurate manner.
Making sure that everything in the lobby, bar, hallways and restrooms are clean and assigned deep cleaning tasks are being completed during down time. If slow, pull things out and wipe down, clean the floor, clean the shelves, booths, tables and chairs.
Ensuring that dishes in the back are completed and stored away properly.
Responsible for ensuring that self is taking 30 minute lunches and 10 minute (15 min for minors) breaks when needed and at appropriate times.
Responsible for ensuring that the FOH, dry and perishables are stocked and all products are being rotated and dated properly (FIFO)
Ensure that all plates going out are meeting our standard.
Full knowledge of break down and set up of lobby and dish area, as well as knowledge of where all products are located
Must understand the channels of communication for any given issue.
Reporting all workers comp claims to the Manager immediately after the incident.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.05 - $16.05 per hour
