Bartender/Food Runner

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender and Food Runner(Willing to train the right person) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately, ensuring all sales are recorded properly.
• Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders, answering questions, and making recommendations.
• Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies; assist in ordering stock as needed.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain compliance with health standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred.
• Familiarity with cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems; experience with Aloha POS is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse clientele.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining a safe work environment.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
