We are a UP AND COMING venue looking for some of DETROITS Finest waitstaff !

The Social Brews is developing a Great food and beverage program and we are looking for waitresses and bartenders to help us bring our vision to live ! We are not only a cafe and beer hall , we also have a 2500 sqft elevated patio / rooftop that we have recently renovated and updated to the visual. Recently we have changed over from self service to table service and are developing the systems and team to do so . Were a growing concept in the early stages of development , looking for team members whom are excited to be apart of building something from the ground up rather than stepping into an already established environment . We are looking to bring in some fresh faces sooner than later due to summer being around the corner ! Love to hear from YOU!

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process transactions efficiently with cash handling skills.
• Provide attentive customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating special requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the rooftop patio area, including bar stations and dining spaces, adhering to food safety and food handling protocols.
• Manage time effectively during busy service periods to ensure prompt delivery of orders while maintaining high-quality service.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate catering events, banquet functions, or nightclub gatherings held in the outdoor space.
• Uphold all food safety standards and responsible alcohol service policies to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff alike.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, fine dining, catering, or nightclub environments is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; retail math and basic math skills are essential for accurate cash handling and sales transactions.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest experiences.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while demonstrating strong time management skills.
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire; experience with food handling is a plus.
• Prior banquet experience or retail math knowledge is advantageous for managing large groups or event sales.
• Hospitality background with experience in brewing or food industry roles will be considered a strong asset.
