The Role

As a Bartender / Server, you are a central part of the guest experience — equally confident behind the bar and on the floor.

This hybrid role requires someone who can craft balanced cocktails with technical accuracy while also managing a section with composure and awareness. You understand pacing, read the room naturally, and know how to elevate a guest’s experience through thoughtful recommendations and attentive service.

ResponsibilitiesBehind the Bar

  • Prepare cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency and precision
  • Execute house cocktails and elevated Italian-inspired classics
  • Maintain strong knowledge of spirits, amari, Italian liqueurs, and wine
  • Engage bar guests with polish and confidence
  • Support floor service efficiently during high-volume moments
  • Assist with batching, prep, inventory, and opening/closing duties
  • Maintain a clean, organized, fully stocked bar

On the Floor

  • Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS
  • Offer pairing recommendations and strategic upselling
  • Manage course pacing and maintain full awareness of your section
  • Ensure guest satisfaction and handle concerns professionally
  • Collaborate seamlessly with runners, bussers, bartenders, and kitchen

Standards

  • Maintain composure under pressure
  • Handle transactions and cash accurately
  • Uphold all sanitation and alcohol service guidelines
  • Represent The Quartiere brand with professionalism at all times

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong cocktail knowledge and technical execution
  • Comfort working both bar and floor service
  • Experience in high-volume or elevated dining environments
  • Polished communication and guest presence
  • Strong multitasking ability and situational awareness
  • Understanding of wine and Italian spirits (Amaro, Limoncello, etc.) preferred
  • Experience with Toast POS a plus
  • Prior bartending and/or serving experience required
  • Craft cocktail or upscale dining experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base hourly wage (in accordance with state guidelines) + pooled tip share
  • Total compensation varies based on shift volume, performance, and position mix

Compensation includes base hourly wage plus earned pooled tips distributed through our tip pool structure.

Schedule

Availability must include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
