Bartender/Server

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery.
• Provide attentive customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems, manage cash handling procedures, and process payments efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist with catering events, banquets, or nightclub service as needed, ensuring smooth operations during high-volume periods.
• Manage time effectively during busy shifts by prioritizing tasks such as serving multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously while maintaining excellent service quality.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; retail math skills including basic math for cash handling are essential.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety.
• Experience working in nightclubs or catering environments is advantageous; beverage brewing knowledge is a bonus.
• Excellent time management skills to handle fast-paced service environments efficiently.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
