Bartender/Server

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery to guests in both fine dining and nightclub settings.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS and cashiering procedures; manage cash handling with integrity and attention to detail.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by following proper food handling protocols and adhering to food safety regulations.
• Assist in setting up banquet events or catering functions, ensuring all guest needs are met with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Manage time effectively during busy shifts by prioritizing tasks such as serving tables, refilling supplies, and closing out tabs efficiently.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, preferably with restaurant experience including fine dining or nightclub environments.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling and cashiering is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for sales transactions, retail math skills are advantageous.
• Experience in serving at banquets or catering events is desirable; retail math skills are beneficial for managing sales accurately.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders simultaneously while maintaining high-quality service.
