Bartender/Server

IMMEDIATE START

$13 an hour + Gratuity

Mix and serve drinks to customers. Assist servers to meet customer’s needs. Maintain and abide by all state and local liquor laws. Responsible for inventory and assistance with ordering when needed. Maintain a positive, cheerful and friendly demeanor with customers and co-workers.

Essential job functions:

• Assess member/guest needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Check member/guest identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Prepare drink orders according to specified recipes using measuring systems.
• Attend to tables in the dining area.
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
• Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks.
• Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
• Restock bar with liquor and supplies.
• Transport supplies to bar set-up areas when needed
• Wash soiled glassware.
• Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables and place in designated area.
• Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs.
• Process all payment methods.
• Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank.
• Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
• Complete closing duties.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Maintain a well kept appearance, clean uniform and hair up/back.

Requirements

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk and crouch
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs., and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.

Qualifications:

• State required alcohol seller server certification (ABLE)
• Requires ability to frequently lift/move up to 30lbs.
• Previous cash handling experience required.
