Bartender/Server

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing excellent service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. This role requires a blend of creativity, efficiency, and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Operate cash registers accurately, handling cash transactions with precision.
• Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist in restocking as needed.
• Adhere to all food safety and handling regulations to ensure compliance with health standards.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders when necessary.

Skills

• Proficiency in cash handling and operating cash registers.
• Strong basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management.
• Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Knowledge of retail math principles for effective inventory control.
• Understanding of food safety practices related to beverage preparation.
• Familiarity with brewing techniques is a plus for establishments serving craft beers or specialty drinks.
• Experience in nightclub settings or high-volume bars is advantageous but not required.
• A helpful attitude towards customers and team members alike is essential for fostering a positive environment.
