Bartender/Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable experience. Your ability to multitask and maintain a clean and organized bar area will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a safe environment for both staff and guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders when applicable.
• Assist in catering events as needed, providing bartending services for special occasions.
• Stay updated on drink trends and menu offerings to provide recommendations to guests.

Skills

• Proven experience in bartending or a related hospitality role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, and beverage pairings.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Excellent math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining health standards in the bar area.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $17.51 - $19.31 per hour
