Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently using POS systems such as Khamu.
• Take food and drink orders accurately, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high standards of food safety and food handling protocols.
• Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations.
• Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with precision, including processing payments and giving correct change using retail math skills.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining space, and service stations to meet health regulations and safety standards.
• Assist with catering, banquet, nightclub, or special event service to ensure seamless operations during high-volume periods.
• Demonstrate excellent time management to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently while delivering a positive guest experience.

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, but we are willing to train The 208 way.
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly while adhering to food safety regulations is essential.
• Strong skills in basic math for cash handling, retail math for sales transactions, and managing tabs accurately.
• Knowledge of the food industry standards related to food handling, food safety certifications, and proper beverage preparation techniques.
• Prior experience working in hospitality environments that require excellent customer service skills and quick adaptability under pressure.
• Bonus qualifications include catering experience, brewing knowledge, or retail math proficiency to elevate your versatility on the job.
