South Perry Lantern is part of Tangen Hospitality, a locally owned restaurant group with multiple locations across Spokane.

Position Overview

This is a team-driven role focused on delivering a polished guest experience in a moderately paced environment. We are looking for individuals who are confident, attentive, and take pride in their service.

Bartenders and servers at South Perry Lantern:

• Provide attentive, elevated service with strong guest awareness
• Serve alcohol responsibly and confidently check IDs
• Hold a valid Washington State MAST permit
• Hold a valid Washington State Food Handler’s Card
• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, and wine with consistency and attention to detail
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace
• Work collaboratively with both front and back of house teams
• Anticipate guest needs and create a welcoming, comfortable experience

Team members are expected to perform these responsibilities and other duties as assigned by management to support the overall operation of the business.

Schedule and Availability

We are open daily, with varying hours depending on business levels and seasonality.

• This position offers 20 to 25 hours per week
• Shifts range from 4 to 8 hours
• Bartenders/Servers average 3 to 4 shifts per week
• Availability on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays is required
• Open availability is a strong bonus
• Evening and weekend availability is required
• Holiday availability is expected

Consistency, professionalism, and attention to detail are key in every shift.

What You Need

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to stand for 4 to 8 hours
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• A team-first attitude
• Previous bartending or serving experience is preferred
