Bartender/Server

Job Summary: The Bartender/Server will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our guests by preparing and serving beverages, taking orders, and delivering food in a timely manner. This role requires a blend of excellent customer service skills, multitasking abilities, and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Bartender Duties:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Check identification to verify guests are of legal drinking age.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and ensure accurate billing.
• Engage with guests to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
• Monitor and manage inventory, ordering supplies as needed.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of alcohol.

Server Duties:

• Greet and seat guests, provide menus, and offer recommendations based on customer preferences.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure guests’ needs are met.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or special requests.
• Prepare tables for new guests, including clearing and resetting tables.
• Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Assist with other duties as needed, such as restocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a bartender is required
• Previous experience as a server is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating tabs.
• Knowledge of alcohol laws and regulations.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $10.70 per hour
