Bartender/Server

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong background in the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, crafting delicious cocktails, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including Toast POS.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Assist with banquet and catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to guests.
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as necessary, and communicate any shortages to management.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders.

Skills

• Experience in the food industry with knowledge of food handling practices.
• Familiarity with banquet service and catering operations is preferred.
• Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively.
• Proficient in using POS systems, particularly Toast POS, for processing orders and payments.
• Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest experience.
• Previous experience in nightclub or bar settings is advantageous.
• Understanding of food safety standards and best practices in beverage service.

Pay: $9.50 - $12.00 per hour
