Bartender/Server

• Greet customers sitting at the bar, give them menus, and inform them about daily food and drink specials.
• Be knowledgeable about beer and wine.
• Interact with customers professionally and kindly.
• Be able to make food, beer, wine and cocktail menu suggestions.
• Take drink and food orders from customers and enter into the POS system.
• Pour wine, serve draft and bottled beer.
• Supply Servers their alcoholic drink, wine and beer orders
• Check identification of customers, to ensure that they are of legal drinking age.
• Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, washing glasses and equipment.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Operate cash registers, collect payments from customers, and return change.
• Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Must have bartending experience in a fast-paced high volume bar with a full cocktail list
• Must be able to work weekends and public holidays.
• Must have food handlers and RBS certificate or obtain within 30 days of hire.
