Bartender/Server

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional customer service while expertly preparing and serving beverages and food. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate drink and food orders using Toast POS system, ensuring quick and precise transactions
• Prepare and serve beverages in accordance with safety standards and handling alcohol responsibly
• Serve food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and food handling procedures
• Manage cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments accurately using POS systems
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation standards
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy nights, private events, or block parties
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by engaging with guests, addressing inquiries, and resolving concerns promptly
• Uphold responsible alcohol service practices, verifying guest identification and monitoring consumption

Skills

• Proficient in the use of Toast POS system, with experience dealing with cash transactions
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during peak hours
• Exceptional customer service abilities with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• At least 3 years of experience is prefered
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and managing tabs accurately
• Experience in the food industry or hospitality environment demonstrating adaptability
• Availability to work Happy Hour 3P-5p and evenings M-F

Pay: $19.18 - $20.00 per hour
