Bartender/Server:
Small outdoor bar in Rockport MA. Not your traditional restaurant bar. We have a service window where bartenders take orders, make drinks, & prepare small food items like charcuterie boards, run food & drinks. $15 per hour, plus tips.

Possess a High School Diploma or GED.
At least one year experience in hospitality/restaurant/ customer service related positions is desired. Must have alcohol training like TIPS or Serve Safe, or be willing to complete course before starting.
You are expected to work on weekends and holidays for this position. This is an hourly, seasonal position.
The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions
Expression or exchanging ideas by means of spoken and written word required. Those activities in which the individual must convey detailed or important spoken or written instructions and information to guests, their families, staff, and management personnel accurately, loudly, or quickly. Must be able to communicate effectively. The ability to speak clearly and concisely, and to convey information or articulate an opinion is essential for this position. Must be comfortable speaking. Presenting to an individual or to groups. The ability to convey your message in writing using proper grammar is a basic requisite for this position.
Knowledge of arithmetic and their applications, and ability to perform these mathematical operations.
Must take and pass ServSafe Alcohol course & may be required to take ServeSafe Food Handler
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to tolerate interruptions and still be able to prioritize and focus to meet standards of quality in accuracy, attention to detail, and time constraints. Ability to learn policies and procedures and apply them to various circumstances including the ability to interpret needs and respond in standardized situations. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, diagram, or schedule form.

Standing for 8+ hours a day.
Frequent climbing. Ascending or stairs, ramps, and the like using feet, legs, and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized. Amount and kind of climbing required exceeds that required for ordinary locomotion.
Frequent balancing. Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling and walking, standing or crouching on narrow slippery or erratically moving surfaces. The Bartender reports directly to the Owner/Director Krystle or Eric Leveille and the General Manager.
