Bartender/Server

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
• Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink selections.
• Maintain an organized bar area, including cleaning glassware, utensils, and equipment.
• Process orders efficiently using the POS system, ensuring accurate cash handling and transactions.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods.
• Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist in ordering as needed.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while serving food and beverages.
• Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or bartending is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS or similar software.
• Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation methods.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be of legal drinking age and possess any necessary certifications related to alcohol service.
• A background in catering or sales is advantageous but not required.
