• Position Summary:We’re looking for a skilled and personable Bartender/Server to join our front-of-house team. Our bar is a central part of the guest experience, and we take pride in creative drinks, smooth service, and a fun, professional vibe. As a Bartender/Server at Fire Forno, you’ll craft drinks with precision, engage with guests, and help create a bar experience that keeps people coming back. This position also entails guiding guests through the Fire Forno experience, providing high quality service, answering questions about our menu, ensuring their needs are met promptly, and ensuring they leave satisfied. The ideal candidate has a passion for mixology, great customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. From crafting classic cocktails to recommending house specials, you'll be a key part of creating an exceptional experience for our guests.
• Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare cocktails, beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes and standards.
• Provide prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable service to guests and servers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned serving area and bar area, including restocking and prepping ingredients.
• Ensure all ingredients are within their shelf life and stored properly.
• Monitor and rotate stock to prevent use of expired ingredients.
• Present menus, take food and beverage orders, provide recommendations based on guest preferences, and guide them through the menu with confidence and enthusiasm.
• Accurately handle tabs, payments, and POS transactions.
• Check identification and follow all alcohol service regulations.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the TOAST POS system.
• Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring all items are presented attractively.
• Check in with guests throughout the experience, anticipate their needs, and address any concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and support staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain communication regarding special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Assist with side work and closing duties as requested.
• Monitor inventory and restock bar supplies as needed
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the restaurant.
• Qualifications:
• Previous bartending experience in a high-volume or full-service setting required.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
• Must obtain food handler’s certification.
• Prior serving experience, prior POS handling, preferably TOAST, preferred in a full-service or fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests and team members effectively.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to take direction well.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.●Must be able to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to safely lift and easily maneuver plates of food, as well as supplies weighing up to 20 pounds.
