Bartender/Server

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic bartender and/or server to join our team!

The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent service will be key to your success in this role.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the Aloha POS system or other point-of-sale systems.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations while handling food and beverages.
• Manage cash handling procedures, including processing payments and providing change as necessary.
• Engage with customers to provide exceptional service, answer questions about drink options, and make recommendations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of drinks during busy periods.
• Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs for reordering to management.

Skills

• Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
• Proficiency in cash register operations and cash handling procedures.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Basic understanding of retail math for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to engage customers effectively.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $34.00 - $60.00 per hour
