Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring efficient service.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Serve food items promptly while maintaining presentation quality and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with precision, including processing payments and giving correct change using retail math skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in all areas of food handling, beverage preparation, and service stations.
- Engage with guests to promote sales by recommending menu items or specials, creating a lively atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.
- Collaborate with team members during busy nights such as nightclub events or banquet functions to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Follow all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices to ensure guest safety at all times.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous for efficient order processing.
- Demonstrated ability in serving alcohol responsibly and knowledge of food handling safety protocols.
- Strong time management skills to juggle multiple tables or bar stations during peak hours.
- Familiarity with catering or banquet experience is a plus for special event service.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in fast-paced environments.
