Summary/Objective

Job Description: Fine Dining Server/ Bartender

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fine Dining Server/ Bartender to join our establishment. As a Fine Dining Server/ Bartender, your primary responsibility will be to craft and serve exquisite cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, and provide exceptional customer service to our discerning clientele. Your in-depth knowledge of mixology, attention to detail, and passion for creating memorable eating and drinking experiences will contribute to the overall success of our fine dining establishment.

Responsibilities:

1. Mixology and Beverage Preparation:

- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and creativity, complementing the fine dining experience.

- Embrace a deep understanding of classic and contemporary cocktail recipes, as well as the ability to create unique and personalized drinks upon guests' requests.

- Utilize expert knowledge of different liquors, spirits, wines, and beer to recommend and suggest appropriate pairings based on guest preferences and meal choices.

- Ensure beverage presentations are visually appealing and consistent, while adhering to established standards.

2. Customer Service:

- Provide guests with warm and friendly service, ensuring a pleasant and engaging experience.

- Engage with customers by offering detailed knowledge of the beverage menu, answering inquiries, and making recommendations or suggestions based on guests' preferences and dietary restrictions.

- Anticipate and respond to guests' needs promptly, actively engaging with them to ensure their satisfaction while maintaining a professional demeanor.

- Build rapport with customers, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.

3. Bar Operations and Management:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including bar tools, glassware, and other equipment.

- Monitor inventory levels of beverages, ingredients, and supplies, promptly notifying management to ensure sufficient stock and timely replenishment.

- Collaborate with management and other team members to develop and refine the beverage menu, introducing new creations and staying updated with industry trends.

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of beverages, maintaining cleanliness in accordance with sanitation guidelines.

- Calibrate and maintain bar equipment and machinery, promptly reporting any maintenance or repair needs.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a bartender in a fine dining establishment or similar upscale environment.

- In-depth knowledge of mixology, including classic and contemporary cocktail recipes, spirits, liquors, wines, and beer.

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact with guests in a pleasant and professional manner.

- Excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Exceptional attention to detail and creativity in beverage preparation and presentation.

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently.

- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
