Bartender/Server

Job Summary
Join our hospitality team as a Bartender/Server (rotating with the rest of the staff), where your energy and passion for exceptional service will create memorable experiences for our guests. In this role, you will craft cocktails, serve food, and ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued. No experience required, but definitely preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Take food and drink orders accurately using Toast POS, and process transactions efficiently with cash handling skills.
• Provide exceptional guest service, and make an experience worth coming back to.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining room.
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and delivering prompt service.
• We also sometimes host private parties and events, generally we ask far ahead of time if you'd be willing to work a private event so you can plan accordingly.
• Collaborate with team members to create a lively atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews.

Skills

• Positive attitudes and add to the culture of the bar. One of our mantras is "Culture First".
• Preferred but not required: having worked with and understanding Toast POS.
• Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining high-quality service.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety.
• Willingness to constantly learn, even the most experienced bartenders and servers will be expected to be open to learning new recipes, and to test your knowledge of spirits and cocktails, both classic and house. The most important thing is knowing that you can't know everything, and that asking questions is always preferable to just winging it.

Pay: $11.85 - $30.00 per hour
