Bartender/Server

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Your role is crucial in creating an enjoyable atmosphere for our guests while adhering to food safety standards.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and ensuring their needs are met promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist in ordering supplies as needed.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible serving practices.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
• Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure efficient service.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions and calculating drink prices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, including sales techniques and inventory management.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required.
• A passion for mixology and willingness to learn new techniques is highly desirable.
