Bartender/Server

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including mimosa, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options with precision.
• Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Square POS ensuring timely delivery
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and offering recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and dining areas to uphold food safety standards and a welcoming atmosphere
• Manage cash handling responsibilities, including processing payments accurately and balancing registers at shift end
• Assist in setting up and breaking down bar areas for events like banquets or nightclub functions
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours while managing time effectively

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles. Current OLCC
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS syste,retail math skills are a plus
• Strong customer service skills with an energetic approach to guest interactions
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures in compliance with health regulations
• Previous experience in serving alcohol responsibly and understanding alcohol laws is preferred
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods
