Bartender/Server

Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Bartender/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role involves preparing and serving beverages and food, managing customer orders efficiently, and ensuring a memorable experience for all guests. Experience with POS systems , along with strong skills in sales, food safety, and hospitality operations.

Responsibilities

• Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours.
• Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain cleanliness and compliance.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including bar setup and cleanup.
• Upsell menu items to increase sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations.
• Assist with catering, banquet events, or night club service as needed.
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities seamlessly.

Skills

• Proficiency with Toasts POS systems
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
• Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, banquets, or food service environments is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
• Previous experience in hospitality, brewing, catering, or retail math is advantageous.
