Bartender/Server

Portland Yacht Club is a private club that has operated in Portland since 1908, serving boating enthusiasts on the Columbia River. Our clubhouse operates year round and host a number of events throughout the year. We are hiring part-time servers/bartenders with weekend availability a must. You must be team-oriented, have reliable transportation (there is no direct bus line on Marine Drive), and are customer-service driven. Our staff is committed to serving our members and guests with the highest degree of respect and integrity. Our beautiful facility with a 400 person indoor capacity and 100 person outdoor capacity overlooking the Columbia River is bustling year-round.

The bartending/serving staff will be responsible for a variety of events, from casual member lunches and dinners, to fine-dining, to large weddings. The service staff must have a working knowledge of food and beverage, including spirits, and must have their OLCC permit. A server applicant will be considered with at least one year of serving experience and three years in customer service. Bartenders applicants must have a minimum of two years bartending experience along with serving experience. Bartenders will serve as well as bartend.
