Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently using POS systems such as Toast POS, ensuring accuracy and speed.
• Take food and drink orders accurately, providing knowledgeable recommendations to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering and processing payments with precision.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with food handling regulations, including proper sanitation of work areas.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to create a welcoming atmosphere, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Assist with catering, banquet events, or special functions as needed, demonstrating flexibility across various service environments.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Toast POS; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math are essential.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in nightlife or hospitality venues like nightclubs or banquet halls.
• Experience in brewing or hospitality industries is advantageous; retail math skills are beneficial for sales-driven roles. Pay: $18.17 - $25.59 per hour
