Bartender/Server

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Bartender to join our team! Position is primarily bartending, but also includes serving tables. If you need a new job, but have plans coming up, this is the position for you as we will be closed 3-4 weeks this summer for a major roof replacement. Our bartenders typically earn $20-$30 per hour after tips.

Responsibilities

• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies.
• Monitor guest behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with local regulations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining knowledge of retail math.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
• Uphold food safety standards by following proper sanitation practices.
• Assist in training new staff members on bar procedures and customer service expectations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality.
• Knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits is a plus.
• Time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others in a team-oriented atmosphere.
